Northeast Park is proud to sponsor an annual luncheon honoring men and women who have served in our country's military branches. Last Veterans' Day more than 70 people attended the 1st annual Veteran's Day Luncheon at the Harper Senior Center in Gibsonville. This event was sponsored by the Town of Gibsonville Parks & Recreation Department, Northeast Park, and Reno's Pizza. Veteran's and their spouses enjoyed the encouraging and inspirational words of U.S. Congressman Howard Coble, Guilford County Commissioner Kirk Perkins, Gibsonville Mayor Lenny Williams, and VFW Commander Buzz Griggs.

  In order to accommodate more veterans and their spouses, the 2010 luncheon will be held in the Event Center at Northeast Park. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 11 at Noon.
