The 2011 North Carolina Big Sweep
Vance Arnold, President of the local Piedmont chapter of The Sierra Club organized a group of volunteers to clean up the banks of the Reedy Fork Creek which run through the the park. It's amazing how much refuse can accumulate over time due to storms and human carelessness. The prize find of the day was a bleached Frito Corn Chip bag with a 1992 expiration date.
